May The Fourth Be With You

Ludlow Runners were well represented in this year's Star Wars day half and full marathons. A beautiful but brutal course awaited the athletes and comprised of one loop for the half marathon and two for the full. Nikki Martin, Ros Booth, Caroline Prentice, Nicky Corston, Princess Leia (Trudy Macklin), Terri & Steve Greenhalgh and Debbie Bean took on the half.  Amy Fulford, Iain Prentice, Matt Jenneson & Heath Mountford decided to do the full. Major kudos to Amy who wasn't just first lady but the winner of the whole event! The force is strong in that one.

The following day you have the option to seek "The Revenge of the Fifth". Exactly the same race options on the same course saw Wendy Booker and Terri Greenhalgh tackle the half marathon in very hot conditions. Well done everyone!
