Mortimer Forest Trail Run 2016

Ludlow Runners are delighted to announce that the 2016 Mortimer Forest Trail Run will take plaIMG_0466ce on December 11th at 11:00 am. It is a beautiful, but challenging, course of approximately 8.5 miles.

In this well organised, and strongly marshalled, Ludlow Runners event you will get to climb “Poison Bank”, tackle the big dippers and enjoy the lovely, long downhill finish through “Mary Knoll Valley”.

It starts at Moor Park School, near Ludlow, and proceeds through mud, hills and valleys through the bucolic winter scenery of Mortimer Forest.

People return year after year, from all over the country, to test their bodies against the elements of wind, rain and snow to take part in this demanding run. It gives everyone a real sense of achievement and pride when they finish.

You could make a weekend of it and stay in our wonderful town. There’s lots to see and do, just take a look.
