***Very sorry to say, we are having to POSTPONE this year’s Mortimer Forest Trail Run because of the chance of very heavy snowfall making transport to the venue difficult especially for our many marshalls and essential first aides. Please pass this message on. We are hoping to rearrange the date for late March when the weather should be better.***

Ludlow Runners are delighted to announce that the 2017 Mortimer Forest Trail Run will take place on December 10th at 11:00 am. It is a beautiful, but challenging, course of approximately 8.5 miles that can be very muddy.

In this well organised, and strongly marshalled, Ludlow Runners event you will get to climb “Poison Bank”, tackle the big dippers and enjoy the lovely, long downhill finish through “Mary Knoll Valley”.

It starts at Moor Park School, near Ludlow, and proceeds through mud, hills and valleys through the bucolic winter scenery of Mortimer Forest.

Last year saw record numbers take part with over 400 finishers.  There’s a momento for every finisher.

You could make a weekend of it and stay in our wonderful town. There’s lots to see and do, just take a look.

There are prizes for all main age categories or you can even enter a team. With changing, toilet facilities, hot showers and hot food available this is a race you can’t afford to miss. Preferred entry is through entry central.

We really hope to see you again this year. Here’s a video to get you in the mood…

Many thanks to 2014 racer Lilia Pegg who kindly gave us the video of the race.
