Ufton Court Cross Country

Every member of Ludlow Runners that took part in the Ufton Court Cross Country can be immensley proud of their achievments. It was a tremendous day for the Club. Heulwen Gilbert triumphed in the Ladies race yet again. This time by almost 3 minutes from her nearest competitor – incredibly impressive stuff. She was brilliantly supported by her sister Eilish, who finished 7th, and by Sarah Williams resulting in the team finishing 3rd over all.

First home for the mens team was Todd Langley-Tanner followed 4 seconds later by Andy Salt. Strong runs by Jamie Shingler and Craig Collier meant that the mens team won the event. This, on the back of the ladies team triumph last time out, shows just how far the club has come this year. Well done everyone! Full results can be found here. A race report, written by Dan Pavitt, can be found here.

trainingThursday 27 November 2014 saw Ludlow Runners achieve a landmark figure. We had over 50 runners out training that night! 14 in the “Walk to Run” group, 13 in the “Improvers”, 12 “Racers” and 13 “Juniors”. This number was simply unimaginable a mere 10 months ago. Our coaches Colin and Anne are thrilled. Well done everyone. The club is really going from strength to strength. Keep up the good work!
